I must tell you about one of the most wonderful people I had the pleasure to meet in a very long time!! Claribel Santiago met our SJU flight, 2049, yesterday with the wheelchairs. The last two women in front to leave were two “abuelas,” grandmothers, needing straight back chairs. I have never seen such kindness as was shown by Ms Santiago!! She made sure that each of them was told exactly what was going to happen, then followed up by making sure that each was placed in the chair gently and carefully. She went to very far above and beyond anything I have seen in a very long time. Alas, she is an employee of Prospect so I’m not sure she can get an A&B award!! She does, however, deserve high praise for how she handles people. This was the first time I’ve seen her but from what the other f/a’s told me she is this kind always.
