Prospect Expands Service in Bay Area, Adding Oakland International Airport

Prospect Airport Services is pleased to announce the addition of Oakland as the latest city we are serving.  Oakland International Airport (OAK) is in Oakland, California, about 10 miles south of Downtown Oakland and across from San Francisco on the other side of San Francisco Bay.

Oakland joins San Francisco (SFO) as the second city Prospect serves in the Bay Area.

Prospect will be offering services for Southwest Airlines, including Skycap and wheelchair transportation for passengers needing assistance.  OAK is Prospect’s 12th city for Southwest Airlines.

Prospect would like to thank Southwest Airlines for all their support during the opening week.  John Voyles, Prospect Airport Services Director-SE Region, offered a special thanks to the Prospect Go Team. “Our Prospect team did an outstanding job assisting in the new city opening, including Mary Beth, Ndella, Rashmi, and Joseph. Prospect looks forward to many years on the Bay!”

Voyles also gives credit to AvTech for the smooth implementation of workflow technology.  “A special thank you to the Avtech Team of Przemyslaw Kocylowski (PK) and Dominik Juzba for their assistance with the technology and roll out.”

OAK is California’s fourth largest airport, with more than 11 million passengers traveling through every year. 13 airlines offer nonstop service to 55 international and domestic destinations.

Prospect Airport Services, Inc. continues its growth and expansion as it moves into its second half century, adding services and staff to several new airports and airlines in the past year.
