MANAGEMENT TEAM

Vicki Strobel – President and CEO
Ms Strobel has over thirty years experience in the airline services business having worked her way through almost every position in the company to her current role as President, which she assumed in 1991. Vicki is very active in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company from headquarters in Chicago overseeing operations all across the United States. She holds a degree in education from the University of Illinois and is proud to showcase Prospect as a Woman's Business Enterprise.

James Wajda –Chief Operations Officer
Based in Detroit, MI, James Wajda has been an integral part of the Prospect management team for the past fifteen years. Jim oversees management of several key cities including Detroit, MI and owns product development for Prospect’s PDSExpress™ hub management system. Jim holds bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science from Lake Forest College and a master’s degree in Operations from Loyola University in Chicago.

Michael Strobel – Senior Vice President
Mr. Strobel has worked for Prospect in various capacities for over thirty years. In his current role Mike has oversight responsibilities for Prospect operations in Salt Lake City, Orlando and Tampa. Mike holds a degree in Communications from the University of Southern Illinois.

Michael J. Plichta – Senior Vice President
Mr. Plichta has been with Prospect for over thirty years. Based in Chicago, Mike is well known and respected within the airline community having been Vice President, Sales since 1989.

Larry Massaro – Senior Vice President – Western Region
Mr. Massaro joined Prospect after having spent the past 2 years as an independent consultant specializing in leadership development, customer service and station operations In his most recent airline assignment, Massaro served as the Vice President of Customer Service and Field Station Operations for America West Airlines. Larry has oversight and is responsible for our Phoenix, Tucson, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Portland locations, while continuing to focus on growth within the region.

Michael Durocher – Senior Vice President
Mr. Durocher joined Prospect in 1984 and has developed his career from Skycap through all functional disciplines in Florida, Utah and most recently to his current position in our Dallas hub. In addition to his operational oversight of Dallas, Mr. Durocher has responsibility for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Prospect and is the interface between Prospect and the external bidding processes. Mr. Durocher has been instrumental in the development of the PDS Express hub management system and its installation and continuing success in various locations.

Philip J. Lee – Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Human Resources
Mr. Lee brings a wealth of experience to Prospect having spent over twenty years in positions of increasing responsibility within the airline industry in both Europe and the USA. Mr. Lee led the planning and execution of ground handling for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games in 2002 and was heavily involved in the execution of ground handling for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA. He has coordinated international handling events including the Bilderberg Conference. Mr. Lee brings a global perspective to the organization and he holds a degree in Business – Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Limerick, Ireland and is a graduate member of the Institute of Personnel Management (UK).
