Prospect Airport Services celebrated its 50th Anniversary at a company and family gala earlier this month.  The 50 year history of the company was celebrated with a video featuring founders Bob and Mary Strobel’s early years and Prospect’s growth over five decades.  The anniversary celebration coincided with Prospect’s annual Safety Summit where managers are trained and successes are celebrated.  At the gala, Prospect awarded a $5,000 Grand Prize to James Herbruck from CAK, along with 2 round trip airline tickets valued to $1,000.  Herbruck was chosen in a random drawing from all entries received over the past year.  The award, “Caught Being Consistently Safe” honors employees for demonstrating safety everyday.   John Wooden received a check for $1,000 for making the nomination.  Congratulations to James!

Prospect managers nominate employees for being safe every day.  Company President Vicki Strobel reminds her leadership team that this award is for someone doing this every single day.  In presenting the award, Strobel said, “Not because they are nice, or come to work on time or work an extra shift.  It is to positively recognize these awesome employees who work safe every single day.  We are all winners here when we see and recognize this action.”
